I like gis that are fairly lightweight, athletic fit, and prefer ripstop to twill pants. I recently purchase this Balistico 4.0 in addition to an Ultralight. I am 5'10, ~190lbs and purchase the Ultralight in A2L, it was just slightly too big but fits ok after washing and drying so I ordered the Balistico in A2, it fits perfect, I will not dry it. Weight is about perfect - slightly heavier than the ultralight but by no means heavy, it's still fairly lightweight. Fit is very good - not skinny jeans slimfit, but not baggy like Donald Trump's suits either, it's a nice modern/athletic cut. Quality is very good. I like the ripstop pants. On my kitchen scale, the A2 Balistico weighs in at 3lbs 4 7/8oz (sans belt) while the Ultralight A2L weighs 3lbs 3/4oz, so about a 4oz difference plus the difference of the L (can't be much for an extra inch or so of sleeve, maybe a 5oz difference apples to apples). It's a nicer Gi than the ultralight and at only $10 more I prefer the Balistico for the money unless you really prioritize the slightly lighter weight. I would buy again and may add a blue or black balistico 4.0.
Great Gi, fits perfectly
Received my new Ballistic 4.0 gi today. This is a nice gi. I am surprised how light the jacket feels. I ordered an A3 since that's the size of my other Kingz gi's, but this gi is larger. The sleeves go slightly past my wrists and it's big around the middle. I know the gi is supposed to be pre-shrunk, but I'm hoping it shrinks a little. I'm 5'11" and 220 lbs. Maybe I should have ordered an A2H. Besides the slightly larger fit I can tell it's a well made gi.
Excelente Gi.
Excelente Gi me quedo perfecto
